Walk FAQs!

What will the terrain be like?

We will be walking over some rough ground which may also be wet and slippery. There may be some hill walking involved. Please wear appropriate footwear.

Will the walk go ahead If it's raining?

Fungi like rain so yes, please wear good all weather gear in case of rain!

I have a food intolerance/ Special dietary needs.

Please let me know in advance as there will be some tasters on the walk I have pre prepared.

Where is our meeting point and can I park there?

Exact locations are only determined a few days in advance once I've done a recce and I will then give out details via email. I'm afraid most places are not easily accessible by public transport so you will need to drive or lift share.

Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Can children come?

Yes, and children aged 12 or under go free.

What should I bring?

As well as appropriate clothing and sunblock if needed, please also bring water (or something to drink) and a notebook (or phone).

What if I can't make it?

Full refunds available up to 7 days before the event.
